Call#: F SPA (Book) BCD SPA (Audiobook) LP SPA (Large Print) A Marine who ended his tours in Iraq made it back safely because of a picture decided to look for the woman in the photo. He finds her in N. Carolina. She is leary [sic] of him because her brother was a marine and died. He doesn't tell her about the photo. Her Grandma like him immediately. Her son like him too along with his dog Zeus. Many things happen along the way. He falls in love with her. Her ex is completely against him. She falls in love with him. They triumph over challenges and secrets that they both share along the way. In the end there is a tragedy & her ex dies. They stay together & learn how to move on with life. Rating: OK
Call#: F FLA ES#2 (Book) or BCD FLA ES#2 (Audiobook) Had several characters - Kind of hard to follow; few went into politics (?) Which I found boring. I usually love Fannie Flagg but this was not her best book. Rating: OK
